Domain with 2 DCs: WS2012 FSMO roleholder & WS2016 DC. FFL is WS2003, DFL is WS2008. SYSVOL replicates with DFSR.
GPMC "Status" for the domain reports both DCs are replicated, and I'm also not aware of any replication issues. Event logs for DFSR and AD look good. So I'm not sure I really have a problem...except when I run a DFSR Propagation Report against the SYSVOL partnership.
The WS2016 DC completes the test within a few minutes, but the WS2012 DC stays at "Incomplete" indefinitely. The "Health Report" is clean for both--including backlog of 0 files, despite the pending Propagation Test.
What do I need to do here?
TIA
[EDIT]
Don't know if it's relevant, but it occurred to me that a 3rd DC was recently forcibly removed from the domain. I don't think I ever did the Propagation Test when the 3rd DC was in production so I don't know if this is new or old behavior. But if there's something to be cleaned up in DFSR, then I guess that could cause a problem.
