VM Copy of Domain Server wont let me log in.

I've made a copy of my virtual machine domain server. It boots fine, but when I try to log in as admin, i get "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request". Logging in locally is in safe mode. How can I log into a full copy of the server to make changes before putting it into production?

I'm loading it on a machine off the network.
