Server Roles greyed out

I am running a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter edition as a VM on VMware Workstation 14. I have not installed any roles yet. I start 'Add Roles and Features' wizard and saw 'Active Directory Domain Services', 'DNS Server', 'DHCP Server' and other roles greyed out - I cannot click their checkbox to select them. Some roles are available and I can click them - ex.: AD CS. Why is AD DS not available?
