Windows 10 Mail app won't show synced Gmail inbox



I have added a Gmail account to the Windows 10 Mail app. The account shows when I go to Manage Accounts. But no matter what I do, the account does not show in the left pane. I cannot access or send any emails through this account from the app. I have changed the sync settings to "as items arrive" and that doesn't change anything. I have also tried removing and re-adding the account, then resetting the mail app. Nothing has worked. I have 3 Windows 10 PCs and I am having this issue on 2 of them. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
