Hi all,
probably a very simple answer to this but i've done some googling and haven't been able to find a clear answer. We have a number of servers which, we suspect, are having problems relating to an 'tcp port' issue whcih was caused by the July 2018 Monthly Rollup (details on the 2012R2 patch here). What I'm sturggling with is whether or not this rollup is installed. When i check 'View Update History' it shows up, yet when i check in 'Installed Updates' it does not show up. I've also tried checking via the cmd line and it doesn't show up there either:
I see the same behaviour on both 2008R2 (for whom the July Monthly Rollup was KB4338818) and 2012R2. Can someone explain what's going on here? I am stumped.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
