Windows Server 2012 Domain Controller not booting after restart

Hi!

Please help understanding an urgent problem. I rebooted the only DC VM for a domain and it does not boot up after the restart. All boot tries end in BSOD displaying "BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO". It then restarts once more to the same error and then tries to auto repair. Then i get Recovery Console.

I have backups from several weeks, so i figured i'll just restore the DC. I have tried multiple backups and they also end up in the same error... Even the oldest backup. This is the only domain controller in the domain.

This is what i have tried so far to get it booting:

1) All the restart options, safe mode, last known good configuration, DSRM etc

2) Rebuilding the boot sector and BCD

3) chkdisk /r /f in recovery console. Some free space error but nothing significant

4) sfc /scannow /offbootdir=d:\ /offwindir=d:\windows

This ends with following message:

Beggining sytem scan. This process will take some time.

Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

Cbs.log looks like this (I'll add a picture in a reply):

5) Then i tried to manually restoring registry to previous version (Copied files from D:\windows\system32\config\RegBack to ..)

6) Then i tried these things in different order just to be sure on fresh backup restores.

7) Tried running the VM on different machine. T

8) Windows boot logs when i turn them on (i'll add pictures in a reply):

Now i'm completley out of ideas. Backup Software is Veeam which is great... It even lets me browse the active directory in the backup and restore items or folders from it.. Its application aware.. However to get it back running i need to get the VM working to perform a DSRM restore.

Can anyone point in any direction what else could be done to get it working? My hope is SFC will fix the sytem if i get it running, but i have no clue why its not working?

Thanks in advance,

Martin
