Help-Servers keep degrading performance until rebooted

We have a really bad problem and I cannot troubleshoot or figure anything out. We have a lot of 2012R2 servers that have all the latest windows updates, etc. and will function fine for a few weeks and then they slowly start having issues. We cannot troubleshoot since we have no idea what is causing this. Here is how the problem presents itself.

1. You cannot RDP to the machine. It just times out.

2. The console is there, but it is 100% black. Sometimes it will let you login before going 100% black, but usually you can only see a mouse cursor

3. The server still usually pings, and you can often open SMB shares, but if you open services remotely through an RPC connection, etc. it will usually not restart services, etc.

4. You can send it a remote reboot command and get the proper return code, but it usually will not work

5. All of the servers have event ID 7009 repeating over and over again in the System Log, but nothing else to help -

The description for Event ID 7009 from source Service Control Manager cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

30000
Windows Error Reporting Service

The handle is invalid

6. Once they reboot, they are fine
