FSRM Automatic Classification - no files processed

I am trying to set up automated classification on my file server but when I run a rule I created for finding serial numbers it doesn't process any of the test files I have in the folder.

There are 0 warnings, 0 errors and it sees the 6 files I have in that location. The event log only has start and finish job events (the finished log is below). I've deleted and recreated the rule with no luck. The classification property shows up in the properties of the file. Please help.
