s2d cluster across street

Hi I have dilemma to build two node s2d cluster across two buildings, which are connected across street with direct fiber optics, we can connect rdma cards with two or more optical 10 GB lines without switch. The distance is about 100 meters. Is this scenario viable and supported or we need to build two separate 2 node clusters in each building with direct attached (DAC cable) rdma card?
