Can I recover data from a backup on another server?

I have 2012 server, (Files, DC) and another 2012 server I use just for AD replication. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to have the backups on on the first server restored to the second one for redundancy, maybe once a week. They are both in the same domain on the same LAN. Can this be done? I can't find a way to do it using the restore wizard on the second server.
