Assuming there is still ink in a printer cartridge and the cartridge "head"
is clean, why would a printer cartridge stop functioning properly?

1. Malfunction of the ink level sensor.
2. Break in any printed circuit anywhere.
For advice on common printer problems, try
www.fixyourownprinter.com
or MS newsgroups with "print" in the name.
