After deleting all of my videos, clearing out my downloads folder and wiping my temporary files, I still had about 300 mb. free
I have tried to use the disk clean up utility to clean system files as well as the system file checker to make sure I have no corrupted/missing system files. Neither of these gained any space on my disk nor has clearing shadow copies and previous system restores. Using a program called Tree size files I was able to determine the largest folder on my disk was a 45 gb system recovery folder. Also, windows says I have a 30 gb apps and games folder although I have 0 games installed on my computer and I shouldn't have 30 gb of programs. Uninstalling Adobe After Effects freed about 2 gb of storage but did not change the size of the apps and games folder.
