CapsLock utility?

Is there a Vista utility that toggles off NumLock and inserts a
CapsLock delay so it's not accidentally engaged?

Hi Steve,

I haven't seen one, but you can set Vista to beep when you press a Lock
key On or Off. At least you'll know when you bump it. See the link
below for how to do it.

Hope this helps some,

I use smartcaps, only $15 and it does all that you want, including
emulating a typewriter to prevent tHIS. Works in Vista.

Thanks Shawn. Unfortunately, I generally keep the sound on mute, so
I'm afraid this wouldn't help. I guess I'll check out some of the old
CapsLock utilities, see if they work under Vista...

Thanks! I used SmartCaps years ago, wasn't sure it would work under
Vista. I even still have the registration number! :)

Sound card and speakers have nothing to do with this beep. It is generated by the computers built in speaker
