Hi there!
I'm trying to install Windows Server 2016 on an external Hard Disk with VMWare.
This is the first time I do this, since I want to learn the software.
I formatted the HD in GPT as suggested and I created a VM with VMWare from the ISO installation file on the Hard Disk.
Once the Windows Setup Starts it says: No images are available. ( see photo )
Can this depends from the settings or maybe from the HD that is not working properly?
I also haven't set up the network adapter on the VM, can it be the cause?
The ISO file is not corrupted, because if I start the exe file in the ISO from my windows 10 directly it works, if I start from the VM it doesn't, any idea?
