Hello,
I'm in a spot of trouble with our system that has a BCD on boot.
The system would boot and I could sign in but would always fail.
Initially the stop error was showing bridge.sys irql_not_less_or_equal
My best guess is that it was failing just as Hyper-V was starting all of the virtual machines.
After lots of attempts to repair using the installation CD the system still wont boot. It starts the boot process but now has a different stop error code 0xc00002e2
I've also tried this Windows Server: How to Repair the Boot Files in Windows Server 2008 or 2008 R2 if the Server Won't Boot | Dell UK
I've booted in to a Ubuntu Live DVD and connected a USB HDD at present copying all of the Drive C to it.
I really want to avoid a full re-install if I can.
Any suggestions how to repair the boot drive?
The system is a hardware Raid 6
Thanks
