The Victim
System Info: Server 2008R2 with Exchange 2010 with all updates installed as of 10/18/18.
Here's what I tried running CMD as Administrator:
w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:"server001.domain.local,0x1"
net stop w32time
net start w32time
In the registry, this changes w32time > Parameters > NtpServer to "server001.domain.local,0x1", as it should.
However, when I run "w32tm /query /source", it says "Local CMOS clock".
I have unregistered, restarted, and registered the time service but it did not have any effect on this behavior.
What else can I try?
Thank you in advance!
Instead of setting the source to server001.domain.local, the source is set to "Local CMOS Clock"
How can I change the source when this command does not work.
