We're not sure how it happened, but it did. And we don't know how to fix.
Our settings are set to default [and grayed out] to 'ALWAYS ask before opening this type of file'. We have a user who no longer receives this popup window, so when she clicks on a link in an email to open a file within our network, it does not popup, and it just automatically downloads the file to her downloads folder. She doesn't pay attention, and then notices that none of her changes are sticking in the actual document. [obviously].
How can we get that popup to reappear for her?
Again, Windows 10 / Outlook 2016.
Thank you for your timely consideration to this question.
