Hi, I have two domain-based DFS namespaces. Recently I noticed that in file explorer \\domainnameFQDN intermittently only showed NETLOGON and SYSVOL folders. Today I was able to catch this behavior too and found that I contacted domain controller outside my AD site which was not namespace server for given namespaces (all other DCs in domain, two of which are RODCs, are namespace servers for both namespaces).
I guess adding missing DC to the list of namespace servers for both namespaces would solve the issue? Also this means that browsing/mapping dfs namespace would fail intermittently if at that point of time DC not added as namespace server is being contacted (what is logic behind which DC is being contacted?).
Thx in advance.
