Microsoft Tech support scam. windows 10

Last night/evening probably about 6ish o'clock, I received a call from a man named Brandon. Said he

was from Microsoft Tech support, and had a great deal for me. Since I had inlisted these people before, I thought it would be ok. to re-inlist , so I began to listen....He offered a couple of incentives for

me to stay and listen to him, plus he was going to refund me 399.00 that I had paid him before. and

be a permanent tech for my devices for free for life.

So, I listened... After listening for awhile (about 30minutes) he asked me to go to a Walgreens drug

store, and buy with my debit card, 3-100.00 Steam gift cards, or if they didn't have them, buy 6- 50.00

gift cards. I had a small discussion as to why I had to buy these cards. Never really got a logical answer,

except that if I wanted to get my computer repaired I had to. I thought about it awhile, while he was

talking, and decided mistakenly to do what he had asked, to see how it turns out. When I returned

from getting the cards, I had to read the numbers off the back of the card to him, and he was entering them on the computer. He checked and rechecked, and corrected a number or letter here and there,

and then told me to enter the amount in the square that was on the screen, but when I took my finger off the keyboard, my finger hit the enter bar, and instead of 400.00, it read 4000.00. this was the amount he was sending to my Bank for my refund. and supposedly he said he couldn't get it back, because when I hit the "enter" key it also sent the money to my bank...supposedly.

However I got a call this morning from the bank, that said I was overdrawn 300.00, because some

gift cards had an error listed (3).? I still don't understand why I had to use my card to get my refund. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PEOPLE...TECH'S NAME WAS BRANDON his phone # is

2533364187. Also he called me from #3108447602
