Good day!
First I want to start by apologizing to anyone who reads this and wants to assist.
I am no 'Systems or Servers expert', and I screwed up.
I was trying to set up 'Audit Logs' for a 2012 windows server ( In order to determine when un authorized users accessed to it)
I mistakenly and proactively took the matter on my hands and set it up by going to:
Server Manager> Local Server> Tools> Local Security Policiy
I also set them up in the SQL server DB.
After doing this, days after, not innmediately I started to get the message in the title when clicking on Group Management Console.
Also, When I try to open the Local Security Policy it gives me the error :Failed to open GPO on this computer. You might not have the approprate rights.
Details: The volume for a file has been externally altered so taht the opened file is no longer valid.
I have been trying to learn and understand these past days about what concerns this situation, but I decided to give a try and submit a question, to see of perhaps someone might be able to address my problem and throw light on this thing.
Any help, question, or instructions would be very much appreciated.
