I'm using Lenovo ideapad Z580 with
processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.86 GB usable)
GPU - nVIDIA GeForce GT 635M
Base speed - 2.50GHZ
Sockets - 1
Cores - 2
Logical processors - 4
Virtualization - Disabled
Hyper- V support - Yes
L1 cache - 128 KB
L2 cache - 512 KB
L3 cache - 3.0 MB
System type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor
No pen or touch available.
Windows 10 Home Single Language.
Problem is this that my laptop performance is very much reduced. I started feeling some months back that my laptop performance is reducing day by day but now it takes too much time to process, heats a lot, opening of any program is very much slow, even system boots up very slow.
I have tried:
# Removing temporary files.
# Run disc clean up.
# Run disc defragment.
# Cleaned my laptop from dust (it was a lot), after cleaning performance slightly improved but no luck, now again it's low performing.
# Disabled unnecessary programs from startup.
# Removed programs which are not necessary.
# My system is up to date, Windows defender works superb, no virus present in pc at all.
Usage:
# I have started web developing in my laptop so installed some new programs like: WAMP, notepad++, composer, git etc stuff which is necessary for website development, but my laptop was low performing before that software too.
# Watching movies.
# I used to play games, but now it is not performing good I removed the games to free up space.
Available hard disc space:
210 GB free out of 297 GB
21.9 GB free out of 24.9 GB
225 GB free out of 585 GB
overall my 1 TB hard disc has 435 GB free space I think which is more than enough.
Task manager: Right now I'm using this browser window and task manager is open. Status is:
CPU - 5% (approx.)
