DHCP event 20322

Hi,

We have a server 2012 R2 that is our DNS DC and DHCP server. we have a second DC and DHCP and DNS server that is a server 2016.

We did configure a failover-load balancing failover from the dhcp server 2012R to the dhcp server 2016. from what we see the load balancing is working and some client now get thier IPs from the DHCP server 2016, but at the server 2016 we see the event 20322 that says;

[[10.0.0.122]]

PC314.mydomain.local
9017

DNS bad key.

and at the dhcp logs on the server 2016 see this:

DNS Update Failed,10.0.1.22,PC314.mydomain.local,,,0,6,,,,,,,,,9017

we have not configure the PTR for none of the DNS zones on both DNS servers.

How can we correct this issue? we would like to not configure any PTR zones.

Thanks

Shahin
