Hi,
I have a Windows 2012 server, when I create new users they are unable to login, they get the following error message
User profile service failed, user profile cannot be loaded.
so in the event log I can see
In the event viewer 1500
Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, and that your network is functioning correctly.
DETAIL - Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed.

Error The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
error 1509 2nd
Windows cannot copy file \\?\C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\High\Active\{041E44EA-DDA8-11E8-9497-06E58A1E6449}.dat to location \\?\C:\Users\danhighfield\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\High\Active\{041E44EA-DDA8-11E8-9497-06E58A1E6449}.dat. This error may be caused by network problems or insufficient security rights.
There is no folder c:\users\Temp for the destination.
When I look at the Source destination C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Recovery\High\Active\
There are 11000 .dat files, so these are not being cleared
I have found several response to this type of issue and the solution is to
Go into the Advanced Security Settings (right click on folder > properties > security > ) for the C:\Users\Default folder and checking the box to "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object"
Are there any risk i.e. locking ll users out?
