Dear Sir,
I've a question about Windows Server 2016 storage spaces direct (S2D) rebuilding.
We've 4 node servers, each one is installed with 6 x 12 TB HDD to setup S2D and configured as RAID 6 erasure code. Each node also has 2 x cache tier drives.
In case of 1 x HDD failure, how S2D rebuilds? How to calculate rebuild time? Any big performance impacts? In another case 1 x node failure, how S2D rebuilds and what would be rebuild time? Is there any rule I can follow up?
Thanks.
Regards,
Osido
