Installing BlackBerry Desktop Software 1.2.0.52 on Server 2016

Hello all, having a great deal of difficulty installing Installing Blackberry Desktop Software 1.2.0.52 on Server 2016 Standard (Evaluation version). The previous Blackberry 123_b055_multilanguage version will install and run but does not have the Blackberry Blend desktop part in it. Have researched both MS & Blackberry sites + Crackberry forums and cannot find a solution as yet specific to the Server 2016 version. It does however install & work on the Windows 10x64 machine & also works on the other 5 Windows 7x64 machines (all 64bit). It is installed and working well on my current Server 2008 R2 (64 bit) machine

Have tried using %SystemRoot%\SYSWOW64\cmd.exe then the install package but to no avail. This software is very important for myself as it's the only way I can actually respond to text messages as I can read the screen of my Blackberry 10 phone due to permanent double vision. The desktop section of Blackberry 1.2.0.52 has a program called Blackberry Blend which I rely on. Anyone got a solution as I do not want to move from Server 2008 to 2016 without BB Desktop/Bland?
