Unable to open Windows Defender on Windows Server 2016

I have enabled the Windows Defender role with the GUI on Windows Server 2016 Standard. When I try open Windows Defender from 'Open Windows Defender' within the settings menu I get the following error:



"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

Can someone advise please?
