Hello dear ALL,
I started my course "Upgrading 2008 to 2016" and I am practicing new things. One of them is New-ADDCCloneConfigFile that I am wondering of
Going "by-the-book" I ran the command on my DC2 server. After shutting down the server I cloned the VM (I use vmware) and started the DC3 server. Is made some changes and asked to log in.
I figured out that this new server started in safe mode! It got IP/DNS address but did not get a new name (it is still DC2).
Twice I tried to clone my DC2 but did not succeed.
PS: A DC2 has only ADDS role, no warnings/errors were found during the process..
Any ideas?
