Hello,
I know there are few threads about cleaning up a Hyper-V Core host's system drive, but none of them are answering my question.
But let's start from the beginning: I've had a 2012 R2 Hyper-V Core running on my server. Then it came with a need of performing an in-place upgrade to 2016 Hyper-V Core. The upgrade went even better than I thought, but... There's a lot of stuff that has been left. E.g. Windows.old folder. I know, a can just delete the folder and nothing bad will happen, however I'd like to do this as it should be instead of forcibly deleting files.
On Windows with desktop experience feature I can use a disk cleanup tool, where I can select to cleanup 'old windows installation' and I know everything will be performed as desired.
Is there any way I can do this properly on Windows Core?
Thank you in advance,
Tom
