Hello, I met some problem when I use the MBSA (offline catalog) to search for updates on Windows Server 2012 R2.
My server has installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Shell (Isolated) but MBSA suggests to install KB4336999
(Security Update for the remote code execution vulnerability in Visual Studio 2015 Update 3).
The problem is that I cannot install the KB directly and it requested me to install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 first.
Is there any prerequisite for the security patch? And why the KB shows up when it is not related to my version of Visual Studio?
