I need to disable the touchpad on my Dell laptop.

Its a Dell "Studio", runs Vista, 2007, 64-bit. I had it disabled for a long time, but had to re-format. got every update, SP 2, I still cannot find the device anywhere to switch it off! It's used primarily in my hosp. bed, on a food tray, I can't keep my paws off of it. Help!
