Dear Support,
We find that Hyper-V Integration Services “VSS” for the VM shows “No Contact”, the VM will go into Saved State when backups are performed.
How could we make VSS" of VM Integration Services become normal without rebooting VM?
Reference:
PowerShell Snip of the Week – (Get-VMIntegrationService)

If "VSS" of VM Integration Services shows "No Contact", the VM will go into Saved State when backups are performed, i.e. Offline backup.
My virtual machine running but no contact

Try restarting the VM and all should be fine.
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Daniel
