Import Maintenance Configurator task from another servers xml export

I have a server that the Maintenance Configurator task was removed and when I try to import the exported XML from another server I get a message box stating "Task Scheduler service is not available. Task Scheduler will attempt to reconnect to it."

So the task doesn't import. Is there another way to for the import? I'm trying this through task scheduler GUI.
