I can't activate my windows server 2016

I have a product key for windows server 2016 R2 STD (2 CPU/2VMS) for OEM SOFTWARE. I have installed OS from the DVD that is provided by vendor. But after installing the OS I can't activate windows by provided product key. I didn't get any solution by googling. I am worried about microsoft services and its complexity.
