Hello All I'm at my wits end with this issue,
I am trying to replace my current network's domain controllers as the OS is very old 2008 (not r2). I will call them DC1 & DC2. I have created a new server DC3 (server 2012 r2). Upon promotion to DC during the pre-req check something happens that causes $DC1 to reboot and DC3 fails with the info:
Verification of outbound replication failed. Unable to locate replication source domain controller $DC1. Domain controller $DC1 does not exist or cannot be contacted.
I have seen other posts with this same issue however disabling auditing did not fix this for me. Has anyone encountered this issue?
