RDS license problem

Dear Support,

For example, there are Production and DR sites.
Production Site: RDSH server, RD Licensing server.
DR Site: RDSH server.

Could Terminal Server (RDS) Grace period only be available on *newly deployed* RDSH?
Could the users still be able to connect RDSH server in a short time period when RD Licensing Server is down suddenly?

Could we only delete RegKey (GracePeriod) to extend the time of Grace Period for RDSH server on DR site temporarily when Production site and RD Licensing Server is down completely?

Could it work to delete RegKey (GracePeriod) to extend the time of Grace Period for RDSH server on DR site which get RDS User CAL from Production Site before?

Please try to delete REG_BINARY under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\GracePeriod.
You will need to take ownership and give administrator Full Control to be able to delete this key.

please perform the following steps:
1. Open Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM. Export this registry key to a file before making any changes.
3. Locate the GracePeriod key and either delete or rename it. It may be necessary to take ownership of the key and/or modify its permissions first.
4. Reboot the RDSH server. You should now be able to successfully connect to it.

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Daniel
