Issue: 4 PCs will randomly drop connection from any network activity and will not allow access to websites. The PCs will however still ping inside and outside the network. I can view network resources such as printers, other PCs, and backup drives; but I cannot send or receive any information between devices to use them, EG. I can go into Network and see Server X, I cannot access Server X to view documents stored there, or I can see printers on network, cannot send any documents to print, they just get stuck in queue. 2 PCs are Windows 7 the other 2 are Windows 8.1.

Everything i have tried so far.

1. Check to see if you can log off and back in. Does the PC still have access to domain login permissions? User has domain access, still no internet or access to SQL based software, cannot access any device or PC through network even though I can ping them.

2. Does renaming the computer have any effect? No.

3. Restart is the only known fix as of right now. After restart all service access is restored.

4. All of the PCs have static IPs and those IPs are reserved on server DHCP now. No change

5. I have disabled access to Wi-Fi for any device to ensure no device was trying to grab an existing IP. Did not work

6. Tried to disable and re-enable network card. Did not resolve the issue

7. Issued new IPs. That did nothing

8. Tried to flush IP and DNS. That did nothing

9. Ipconfig /registerdns. Does not work

10. uninstalled all current updates. Did not work

11. Unchecked Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Did not work.

12. Added Google DNS to DNS forwarders and disabled IPV6. Did nothing

13. Enable Active Probing. Already on.

14. Switched ports on switch. Did nothing

15. Try numerical IP on web browser to rule out DNS. Could not connect to web page

16. Installed new Ethernet card on one PC with current drivers, assigned a new static IP. Still has the same issue.
