We have some Group-PC´s where user often go to launch or go home and only "Lock" the keyboad with their activ session (during that time Wallpaper is also running).
I want to create a scheduled Task, that forces a Log off , if the computer is not activ during 10 minutes.
Therefore I create a scheduled task, that execute the SHUTDOWN /L /F command, after 10 Minutes lock the keyboard time.
Problem is, if the Task start (because the user locked the keyboard) for example at 10:00 am and a user comes at 10:05 am and move the mouse or keyboard to see if the computer is available, the scheduled task seems to restart the counter again and everything beginns from zero .
What I want is this:
When a user locks the keyboard and leaves his workstation / PC, a forced logoff occurs after 10 minutes.
If other users touch the keyboard and mouse during this wait and do not log in, the counter should continue without waiting another 10 minutes.
If the user who has locked the keypad returns within that 10-minute period and successfully logs on (unlocking the keypad),
the scheduled task stopped and wait for a new keypad lock to start again and wait 10 Min to Log off the user.
Thanks in advance
Pedro
