I have automatic updates turned on on my parent's laptop. Back in October certain updates started to fail to install. At the time, we found multiple errors, spyware, and viruses. My dad thought it was something he accidentally clicked on in IE 11. After running Disk Cleanup, Chkdsk, and Defrag, I thought the issues were solved. However, later Chkdsk scans found more bad or missing/bad clusters and fixed them (I hope!)

Also around this time, Windows Update started failing when installing certain updates. The updates include (with error code):

I hide the updates and tried finding help for the error code listed, but nothing came up in Windows Help or Google. How do I fix this? Windows Essentials did not find any viruses or anything during full scan. Any help would be greatly appreciated asap. Thank you.
