Our Hyper-V Server was running with pending updates. We rebooted the the server to install the updates and now we get a loop of Getting Windows Ready don't reboot your computer. Stays in that mode for about 20 seconds and then reboots and starts the loop again.
I have tried removing the softwaredistribution folder
I tried running DISM.exe /Image:X: /Cleanup-Image /RevertPendingActions
where X: is my system drive.
All that happens is it reboots and starts again. If I try to start in the any of the safe modes (normal, networking or command prompt) it just starts the loop again says Getting Windows Ready and reboots again.
I was able to do the above commands by mounting the drive on my host.
