Created Recovery Drive but not working

I finally got a new flash drive to create a Recovery Drive. Ive followed the steps and the Recover Drive is now ready. I went on and tried to refresh my PC but unfortunately it said files are invalid so i tried resetting the PC but the same result but some days ago i saw something on this site to download some recovery kit i dont know what that is but i rather not temper with it so please what am i doing wrong?
