Hi,
There are two Windows 10 Pro (Built 1803) computers. In both computers, I checked IP Address by ipconfig. ipconfig shows APIPA in both computers. Windows Server 2016 Domain Controller is in the same network. DHCP is also configured in Windows Server 2016.
I assigned static IP on both computers. Now both computers are able to ping with Windows Server 2016. However, while joining the domain, both computers show an error; An AD DC for the domain could not be contacted.
I have gone through the link
Unable to join domain with new windows 10 computers - build 1803
but it was not helpful.
Please let me know, what I need to check?
Apart from this, if I am right, both computers should get the IP from DHCP after joining AD DC. Also let me know, is static IP address required to join an AD DC?
Regards
