Hello all,
I am struggling with the configuration of an SSL VPN using Server 2012. Here is what I did:
1) Installed the Routing and Remote Access and Web Server (IIS) Roles
2) Configured RRAS as VPN Only, Custom, and VPN
3) Opened IIS and created a self signed certificate. Exported the certificate to my client machine (Server 2008 R2 installed on a laptop as a workstation) and then imported the certificate.
4) Re-opened RRAS and selected properties to set the self signed certificate
5) Port forwarded all 443 traffic to my RRAS/Server 2012 instance from my router (DLink DIR-330)
6) Opened 443 on my RRAS/Server 2012 Firewall
6) Attempted to connect via my client machine
At this point, I get an error that the target machine actively refused the connection.
Please help,
Kelly
