Using OneDrive for offsite backup and moving a file share

We have one Server 2012 on site, about 30 users. On this server is one file share everybody uses, roughly 350 Gb big. Now, I have windows backup doing nightly backups and that's fine. But, as we are an Office 365 customer, it occurred to me that each user has 1 Tb of cloud storage available. So, I want to use one of those accounts to backup this share (via sync) to that space.

The problem is that once installing OneDrive it creates it's shared directory on the hard drive of the server, but of course it is either below the root or inside the share itself. What I want to do is create the directory, then move the shared directory below it, so it syncs. Would this just be a simple Robocopy move?

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this and even if it is a good idea, that would be great.
