Readyboost not available after reinstalling Windows

I have a little Dell 11 with an eMMC drive for the primary hard drive. It is 32GB, and frankly, slow. For some time, I was using a MicroSD card and readyboost to help out a bit. And it worked well enough.

Then I had to reinstall Windows. And now Windows is telling me that it won't allow readyboost, as the machine is too fast. Which is crap. It is still the same slow eMMC drive, on the same slow laptop,and performs just as it did out of the box. Is there a way to force Windows to either retest for readyboost, or force windows to enable it?
