Windows Update

Hello, I just installed a brand new Win 2012 R2 server and activated it. When I try to install updates the bar just scrolls through but no updates are ever shown and the update process never finishes. I also tried to install the KB2919442 manually but it is also just running and never finishes. Any thought or how I can get this resolved and updated the server?
