Windows Server 2016 - Licensing

I have setup Windows Server 2016 Std as Hyper-V host

on the Host I have 2 VM's - (1) DC and (2) Exchange

I understand this is allowed with Windows Server Std License - ie. activate Host + 2 VM's

Questions - with this licensing:

(1) Am I able to install Backup software (either Windows Server Backup or Veeam) on the HOST?

(2) Am I able to install 3rd Party Internet Security on the Host



NB: Demystifying Windows Server 2016 Licensing seems to suggest Backup is allowed
