Client Certificate Selection

We have two types of clients certificates issued by the same CA. ID and a PIV certificate. What is the best way to have Windows Server 2016/IIS only accept the PIV certificate? The certs look almost the same except for a Subject Alternative Name field and an additional policy added to the certificate.
