There is a bug in the ADAC that is more of an annoyance, but could potentially cause major frustrations throughout an Enterprise environment.
In ADAC, I run a global search and get several results. Well I see the name I want and double click it, only to find that whatever is highlighted opens up. But if you close the properties window and try to double click the same name you want again, it'll work. But then double click something else and you'll open the same property Window.
Ugh, I'll try to simplify the explanation, though it's simple.
You have Fred, Jack and Jill AD objects. Fred is on top (the top is highlighted even thought it's not marked blue), you double-click Jill and Fred's properties pop up instead of Jill's. You close Fred's properties window and try double-clicking on the Jill object and it works(opens). Ok so you're done with Jill, now double-click on Jack and what happens? Jill opens up, close properties and try again, it works. I hope you'll get the picture.
Anyway, try this on Windows Server 2012 R2 and see what you find. It happens on RSAT as well and isn't just limited to users, it happens on all objects in AD, it's a double-click weird.........bug
