I've been looking everywhere for a solution to this problem. The Searchindexer.exe crashes about every 1-2 minutes on average.
What I have done:
1. Ran a rebuild more than once.
2. Ran <g class="gr_ gr_29 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="29" id="29">sfc</g> /<g class="gr_ gr_38 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="38" id="38">scannow</g> and no problems were found.
3. Removed any filter packs I had installed.
4. Completely deleted the index files and any other associated files.
5. Completely removed and reinstalled the "Windows Search" more than once, including the registry entries for it.
Just about everything else I can find or try, I have tried. Including the "troubleshooter". Nothing stops it from crashing.
Here is the event log:
