Windows internal database RDCms in Recovery Pending

I was fixing a problem where MS RDS created 2 NULL pool in the internal database therefore the RDS cannot refresh / display in the Server Manager anymore although from the Web Access the incorrect pools were not displayed

This was working well and the NULL pools were deleted completely; RDS were able to refresh and display in Server Manager

However -- after I reboot the server -- probably I should close the database opened in SQL server management studio first -- the Remote Desktop Management service cannot start anymore; I dig into it and find that the RDCms internal database is in a state = Recovery Pending

I am not familiar with the internal database -- and the meaning behind "recovery pending" -- will it recover later or will it stay in this state forever?

Please let me know if there is a fix to this or I will have to reinstall the RDS role tomorrow for a try..

Thanks,

Leon Li
